Special Education Services

Services for individuals with special needs are offered for ages 3 - 22. Magnolia ISD has trained diagnostic staff who identify and assess children with disabilities and assist at locating services for them. In addition to comprehensive educational services, Magnolia ISD offers the following distinctive programming:
  • Inclusive pre-school - allows children with identified disabilities to attend class with children who are developing typically
  • MATRIX (Moving Adults to Transition to Real Interest and Experiences) - this program was developed for students ages 18-21 who have met academic graduation requirements but demonstrate a need for continued support.
